Glorious weather today, am in jeans and t-shirt and its lovely and warm, even outside. I have a load of washing blowing on the line, there is music playing, the dog is chilling in the garden and I am happy. Took a fantastic picture of my cat yesterday, also enjoying the sunshine lol.
So anyway, on to what I have been doing. I discovered a tutorial that has been sitting in a folder for ages, so yesterday after walking 4 miles with the dog, I decided to sit down and give it a go.
Now, they are not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but I enjoyed making them. The middle one sold within minutes of my putting it onto facebook which I am really pleased about, and the Garnet one on the right is a more special one, I made this one today and its made with Silver filled wire. I have Sterling Silver on order to make really precious ones, lots of gorgeous beads including Aquamarine, Carnelian, Pearl and Rainbow Coated Haematite, and am also planning to make little tiny ones with 2-3mm beads for bracelet charms and earrings. Must get on,
I am a mother of 4, and have been making jewellery now for about 4 years. Cherished Gems was established in 2011.
